I tell you what, this ain’t no love boat here. More than a couple times I have spoken of my resistance to take a cruise. Speaking of resistance, you better have a bunch of it these days. They always say you better be up on your shots when you travel, but who knew you needed it for the boat that gets you there? Another cruise, another Norovirus outbreak, this time on a trip back from Fiji. Sooooo, how was that trip to paradise? My guess is it was much better for the people who simply flew there and enjoyed themselves for much longer than the ones that traveled by boat. I get it, I’m hard-headed when it comes to some things and cruises are probably at the top of the list. I just don’t understand it I guess? I’ve been to more than a few tropical locales and I’ve never seen one instance of “wanting” to be on that boat. If anything we usually see a lot of glum faces hanging off the balcony wondering why they only got a few hours at one of the prettiest beaches in the world. Maybe it was for the show, or the gambling or the big slide for the pool. Could it really be the activities? I guess I need some assistance here from people who truly like to cruise. What is the appeal? Or maybe you’re like me and have other reasons that you simply wouldn’t take a cruise. Either way, if you have the time let me know.
